1967  Wins top prize in St. Edmond’s ele­men­tary school annual art con­test. (draws Snoopy perched on top on his dog­house)

1970 ~ 1972  Stud­ies under renown water­color artist Hubert Bau­doin in Philadelphia.

1971  Chance meet­ing with John Lennon at KYW stu­dios in Philadel­phia, Lennon is co-hosting the Mike Dou­glas Show.

1972  Grad­u­ates Bishop Neu­mann HS, Philadel­phia PA

1972 ~ 1976  Uni­ver­sity of the Arts, Illustration.

1976  Runner-up, William H. Ely Award for Excel­lence in Illus­tra­tion. Work is exhib­ited at the Soci­ety of Illus­tra­tors Gallery.

1976 ~ 1984  Work­ing free­lance Illustrator.

1985 ~ 1998  Work­ing pro­duc­tion artist and later Cre­ative Direc­tor at Berry & Homer Inc., a Philadel­phia based graph­ics house. Con­tin­ues to free­lance as a designer and illustrator.

1988  Pur­chases first com­puter, an Amiga 500+

1989  First child born on August 28, a daugh­ter, Samantha.

1990 ~ 1991  Enroles in con­tin­u­ing edu­ca­tion classes at UArts study­ing Adobe Pho­to­shop, Illus­tra­tor and Aldus Pagemaker.

1992  Sec­ond daugh­ter Chelsea born on May 23.

1994  Designs & builds first website.

1998  Accepts posi­tion as Senior Graphic Designer with First USA Bank in Wilm­ing­ton DL. Assum­ing key role as part of the Cre­ative Pre­sen­ta­tions Team that included world class mar­keters, writ­ers, graphic design and mul­ti­me­dia professionals.

2000  Named “Offi­cer of the Bank” BankOne, due in large part to the over­whelm­ing suc­cess of the newly issued Dis­ney credit card.

2002  Begins teach­ing Pho­to­shop class in Wilm­ing­ton DL.

2004  Resigns from BankOne (now JP Mor­gan­Chase) and relo­cates to Sara­sota FL. Resumes free­lanc­ing as graphic and web designer.

2006  Takes on the role of mar­ket­ing part­ner in busi­ness ven­ture (Pro­gres­sive Realty, LLC).

2009  Launches askjoestewart.com, a web and print design com­pany located in Sara­sota FL.
